Their role is to locate, collect and preserve archives relating to past and present life in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, and to make them available to the people of Staffordshire and its visitors.

Our aim is to encourage the growth and development of interest in local and family history in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire by working together wherever we can. Three successful one day fairs have been held at Alsager, Cheshire in 2000, 2001 & 2002.
