"The England" sailed from Spithead, Portsmouth.

"The England" in Portland Roads - off the Dorset coast.

"The England" put to sea.

Passed the Lizard, at the southern tip of Cornwall.
June

Land was sighted.

The emigrants land at Grosse Isle to take on supplies - they re-embarking the same day.

"The England" arrived at Quebec, departing the next day under tow.

The emigrants arrived at Montreal where they stayed (on board ship) until 22nd.
22-23
The emigrants arrive at Lachine, camped in McPherson's warehouse.
24
The emigrants embarked on Durham boats at 4am and were towed to Cascades on the St Lawrence River.
24-26
Cascades to Cornwall in the rain, by Durham boat and by road.
28
The emigrants arrived at Prescott.

The emigrants left Prescott for Kingston on the steamer "The United Kingdom."
