Your Story: Decendants of Irish in Caribbee Island |

My gt,gt,gt Grandparents William Flynn and Bridget Geogh came from Ireland and arrived Carribbe Island, Wolverhampton around 1840. With them was their eldest child Elizabeth born circa 1834. The 1841 census for Caribbee Island states that William and Bridget were 30 years old in 1841.
I have found them on the Manchester censuses of 1861 and 1871 and believe that they were probably born around 1810. William was a labourer probably employed on the canal and railway projects of the time. More...
