Noah's Boathouse hits troubled waters

A pioneering example of Modern Movement architecture in Britain or an ugly eyesore? Listed buildings may have historical importance but that doesn't mean they are always attractive or easy to live with.

Noah's Boathouse in Cookham is a grade II* listed building, but it is not in the best of condition. It needs extensive restoration which could cost as much as £50, 000. Who should pay for the Nation's architectural heritage, and is it worth it?
