Military memorabilia

These items have been passed down the successive generations fo the Hall family and relate to the military career of Frederick Henry Johnson Hall. He was a member of the Royal Artillery from 1888-1919, an unusually long period. As a member of the Royal Artillery, he would have experienced the rigours of battle at first hand, being a member of the mobile artillery units supporting the infantry and the cavalry by driving horse-drawn carriages and firing cannons at the enemy.
