This year’s concert will feature Homage To The Queen, written by Malcolm Arnold for the official coronation ballet in 1953, commissioned by the Sadler’s Wells Ballet in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.

The concert will also feature Arnold’s Symphony No.2 and Shostakovich’s Age Of Gold Suite and Piano Concerto No.2, performed by soloist Rose McClachlan. McClachlan is on the verge of taking the country by storm, having won the Beethoven Piano Society intercollegiate Piano Competition in February.
