The 麻豆社 Symphony Chorus and chorus director Neil Ferris present Brahms鈥檚 famed A German Requiem at the iconic 麻豆社 Maida Vale Studios. Performing the 1871 London version arranged by Brahms, two stunning soloists, Elizabeth Watts and Ashley Riches, are joined by star pianists Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy for this moving work known for its drama and passion.
Preceding the Requiem are two beautiful works for unaccompanied chorus that compliment Brahms鈥檚 composition. William Harris sets a prayer by John Donne, while Gabriel Jackson鈥檚 Justorum animae uses the same text as the end of the Requiem鈥檚 second movement.
