Jazz singer and songwriter Gregory Porter crossed over into a whole different world in May when dance duo Disclosure featured his voice on the first single, Holding On, to be released from their forthcoming second album, Caracal. But Porter has been a major figure in jazz for half a decade now - ever since he released his Grammy-nominated debut album Water in 2010, then winning a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014 with his third album, Liquid Jazz.
