This is my weblog, - you will see all the latest entries I have written, with the most recent at the top of the page. Scroll down the page for previous entries.
On the right hand side of the page, you'll see a calendar. When any date on that calendar is blue, that means there was one or more entry published on that day. Click on the date and the page will display that day's items.
How do I leave a comment?
After each entry, you’ll usually see three links, one to read the entire article, or post, as bloggers call them.
You’ll also see a link called comment.
What is a permalink?
Now, for the third link. Permalink? What’s that? Just like the ‘continue reading’ link, it will lead you to the full article.
But basically permalink is just short for .
It’s a standard feature of weblogs that allows bloggers to link to and comment on the writings on other weblogs.
What happens when I leave a comment?
That’s a good question. The comments will not immediately go live to the site.
We’ll take a look at them. We will post as many comments as we can, and we won’t reject your comment just because you’re espousing an unpopular or radical idea. But we do have House Rules.
Blog purists among you might ask why we are moderating comments. Well, lots of bloggers have had to start moderating comments to cut down on spam comments – people posting advertising in blog comments.
Not all of the comments that we receive meet our house rules, and so will need to take a quick look at them before posting them to the site. We are aiming to publish as many comments as possible in this blog, though unfortunately we can't guarantee to publish every e-mail you send. Try to keep your comments short and relevant to the blog entry you are commenting on.
If you have a question or a complaint, you can always post a comment or send us an e-mail.

My congradulations to your blog. Enclosed is a photo I took of the May 1st 2006 Demonstrations for Immigration Rfeorm by the US Latin Community in Miami Florida.
With Dan Damon's return comes the voice of the Israel government parading as a journalist. This morning he asks the Hamas spokesman not about the Palesinian family just murdered by Israeli bombs but about the potential for "indiscriminate deaths" caused by puny Hassam rockets. The rest of the world including the United Nations chief notices the "disproportionate" assault by Israel with death resulting. Not even the US is equating the Kassams with the bombs and tanks of the massive IDF. Not even the US suggests that one IDF hostage justifies the massive assault against homes and bridges and hospitals. Mr Damon's questioning, as always, places a far higher value on Corporal Shalit than on the 60 plus Palestinian deaths or the 10,000 Palestinian hostages. Where is the Â鶹Éç's objectivity? It was a relief listening to other reporters in Dan Damon's absence.
I am a New Zealander that has been living in Israel for the last five years. Since I am neither Jewish nor Muslim I genuinely appreciate balanced opinions.
You recently (in the last three day) had an interview with Rami Khouri and I truly thought his views succinctly questioned the essence of the Israel-Arab conflict.
Is there any chance I would be able to get the transcript of that interview as I would like to open a discussion with my English students.

National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years. The NTSB covertly funded a project whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four wheel drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.
They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, Shit!"
Only the state of Texas was different, where 89.3% of the final words were, "Hey Y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"
