This great photo, courtesy of , shows thousands of pairs on glowing bunny ears, worn by more than 1,600 women who gathered in the middle of Saturday night on Llwyn Isaf green in Wrexham town centre for the start of the 10-mile . Between them, they've pledged more than £170,000.

says archaeologists believe they have uncovered the remains of a 4,000 year old Neolithic (New Stone Age) settlement at Tarmac's Borras quarry in Wrexham.
They noticed dark areas resembling cooking pits appearing whilst topsoil and subsoil was being removed for sand and gravel extraction. Tarmac has suspended work in the area of the finds whilst experts from Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust (CPAT) excavate the remains.
The only other similar Neolithic site is at St George's Quarry, Abergele.

How journalists tell the story is changing due to technology in the hands of the man and woman in the street - and this was highlighted yesterday as a drama unfolded in Wrexham town centre when the old Hippodrome Cinema building went up in flames.
Within minutes we were receiving calls and texts from passers-by caught up in the incident as they stood around the cordoned off Henblas Street, and soon after we were being offered photos and video as nearby office and shop workers used their mobile phones to capture the unfolding drama from their roof-top vantage points.
