Weekend weather

Well the weather's been up and down like a yo-yo this week. Cloudy and damp one day, fine and sunny the next and it's looking pretty mixed for the weekend too. A little rain but some sunshine as well. Sunday looking the better day.
After yesterday's sunshine it's much cloudier again today with low pressure bringing more moisture in from the Atlantic. The wettest weather today in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England.
Here in Wales, plenty of cloud around this afternoon with a few spots of drizzle, mainly in the west. A few bright or sunny intervals too with much of east and northeast Wales dry. Temperatures 17 to 20 Celsius, 21 Celsius in Flintshire with a south to south-westerly breeze.
Tonight cloudy with a little rain and drizzle, especially in Snowdonia. Some hill fog too. The Marches, Wrexham and Flintshire mainly dry. Breezy and mild, temperatures not falling below 14 Celsius.
Tomorrow plenty of cloud with some drizzle then rain. The rain heavy for a time on the Snowdonia and Cambrian mountains with hill fog. The rain turning lighter and more showery in the afternoon with a few brighter intervals.
Breezy with top temperatures 17 to 20 Celsius.
The Cwrt-y-Cadno agricultural show is taking place tomorrow near Llandovery. A little rain is likely here. Turning drier in the afternoon with a few showers. Breezy with temperatures peaking at 17 Celsius.
Sunday a brighter day on the whole. The cloud broken with sunny spells and the odd shower. Breezy and feeling fresher. Highs between 17 and 20 Celsius.
Further ahead, one forecast model I look at is hinting that we could be in for a taste of summer by the middle of next week with temperatures soaring into the mid 20s on Wednesday. No guarantees of course but let's hope so!
