Back in the saddle

I`m in total shock! Alaw, my 7 year old daughter, has just had her first horse riding lesson. We're both so excited and she absolutely loved it. She didn`t want to come off the horse and can`t wait until her lesson next week.
I can't believe that we've both been riding this week. Alaw for the first time ever, and me for the first time in 25 years.
I was quite emotional seeing her on the horse and felt quite chuffed that I have now given her the opportunity to learn horse riding. I've even decided that a friend and myself are going to book in for private lessons over the summer holidays.
I was also able to help her guide the horse a little as I actually learnt quite a lot during the filming. If you'd told me 6 months ago that I would be going to horse riding lessons, I would never have believed it. I still don`t fancy wearing those jodhpurs though and horse riding boots with elastic. Yuuuuuk!
