The Â鶹Éç news site should implement something like Slate does: which is to mark corrections (particularly substantive corrections rather than just spelling mistakes or expanding the article) and how it was corrected, rather than just silently edit a piece, which can make a person linking the article look foolish when the article no longer says what it previously did.

How about addressing the issue of hiring the offensive Kelvin MacKenzie to present a radio show on Christmas day?

Is insuting the dead of Hillsborough less offensive than calling a motorized vehicle a 'bit gay'?

I'm sure it won't be long before Clarkson's contract with al-Beeb is terminated. I'm sure the same won't happen to Jeremy Hardy, Mark Steel, Matt Lucas or other 'favoured' ones.
