1. Clint has said his last acting role was for Gran Torino, in which he played a Korean War Veteran for the fourth time in films. In box-office terms it was his most successful movie ever.

2. Hilary Swank picked up the Best Actress award in the 2004 Oscars for Million Dollar Baby. Clint also won the award for Best Picture, Best Director and Morgan Freeman picked up Best Actor In A Supporting Role. Winning that Oscar made him the oldest living director to win two best picture awards and the oldest recipient of the Academy Award for Best Director. His 95 year old mother went with him to the ceremony.

3. Paint My Wagon was Eastwood's only musical, although in 1963 he did release an album called, 'Rawhide's Clint Eastwood Sings Cowboy Favourites.'

4. The orangutan was called Clyde. Harvey is of course a famous fictional film rabbit. Originally the film was intended for Burt Reynolds.

5. He's now 6'2". Did you know he was not nominated for an Academy Award, either as an actor or as a director, until age 62 and is fluent in Italian.
