how about that for a line up and it all happened almost by accident.
Jason was listening to last night's show and wants to come on to talk about Monday night's Led Zep gig. Macca has been around for the last week or so, finally confirming today, Roy is one of our Christmas experts (how to write a Christmas smash) The Archbish has agreed to be today's wise man and Johnny has nailed Joe as a big first day return guest, post new baby.
What a giggle ?

almost as good as my line-up this evening : a
cracking 15 mins with some chicken (hopefully on sizzling form) - she'll be joined by some roasted peppers who have just returned from a sunburnt holiday - they'll be telling me all about that.
Also on the show is a dish of gravy, floating along to drown out a couple of flaky King Edwards that tend to come out of their skin when the temperatures rise.
Finishing off the whole lot will be a cheeky little Rioja who'll be completing the evening with tales of sunshine and goodwill to all men.
Beat that for a lineup . . .

The wee lass had a ball at her Christmas party this morning! She coped fantastically (at a distance) with the puppets and even went for her present from Santa! She has now decided that he can come to the door but is still not allowed to come in, so I guess the milk and cookies are getting left on the doorstep!
Well, a woman's work is never done!!

last night, Santa came past our house, with his float, and several Elves. (They were all pretty big). I dragged my 13 year old outside, and shouted Santa over for the obligatory hug - Me not her.
Santa comes over, throws his arms round me, gives me a big love and says, "so Helen, what do you want for Christmas this year".
Do you know - the look on my daughters face when he does that is worth every penny Christmas costs. She can never fathom how Santa knows my name, and of course, once he's finished with me, he speaks to her too by name! Getting older - puft.... Santa is really all you need.
Well, that and love.

I managed to hear some of the show last night - first time in weeks and weeks. Roy Wood was wonderful - what a down to earth guy. It was great to hear "Ernie" - took me back to when I was 15! HOW can 36 years have passed since then? They have gone in a flash!
Susan - thank you for remembering my birthday! I had a lovely day, lots of really nice gifts but the best is a paperweight from my daughter. It has a love-heart embossed on it and reads "thank you for being my mum". What a sweetheart eh?
I'm starting to get just a wee bit excited about Christmas, but I'd love to get some of CtD's enthusiasm! I'm going to work on that today!

On Tuesday you asked about Dread Zeppelin.
From memory, I think they were a bizarre band who played Led Zep songs, in a reggae style, with an Elvis impersonator on vocals.
I think his name was Tort Elvis.
Chris. You must dig this lot out and play something by them. They had an album out somewhere around 1990 called
Un-led-ed.
This is priceless stuff and I seem to recall their Whole Lotta Love being rather special.

What a day I had yesterday ...... I was literally either flat out on the sofa or staring down the loo - yep, THAT sickness bug attacked me in the middle of Tuesday night, hence my absence from the Blog yesterday.
First flu and then that. Why me??!?!?
Still, I'm upright again today and back at work - they nust think they took on a right dud!
Today's main task is wrapping corporate christmas prezzies and getting the company christmas cards out - so, no pressure!
Still amazingly excited about Christmas but have to admit to feeling a bit achey and jaded today.

am listening again as I love Sir P Mc - he is my second fav Beatle - and missed it last night as at lunchtime christmas do and had a lift home - no Â鶹Éç on his stereo and too embarressed to ask for it (I am inder 30!)
