If Anthony Rose is free can he put forward his views here or on the Â鶹Éç HD blog about DOGs.
I think a really big question is whether those who want to use a dog support them from a marketing view point or another angle.
Afterall Â鶹Éç content on Â鶹Éç 1 or 2 is rarely output with a DOG so what is the need for Â鶹Éç HD or for any other broadcaster or channel?
Viewers enjoy certain genres or individual shows rather than channels meaning a logo of the channel isn't going to persuade them to carry on viewing. And in a world of EPG information or having to navigate your way through the iPlayer site they know what they are viewing already.
And to someone on the tube who sees someone using a portable device the logo will look like more of a smudge unless they directly peer over the persons shoulder as most small screens viewing angles aren't as advanaced as televisions.
