Surfing

Posted from: Tabatinga
I heard from Steve today. Apparently he's just had the best few days surfing imaginable on the coast of Peru as a break on his long journey home to the madness of the office in Cardiff. It has given me a smile all day to think of him out in the water.

It is almost impossible to express how much surfing means to Steve's psyche and he simply never gets to do it at all any more. He has so deserved it after the difficulties of trying to organise and direct all that we've been up to here. He really didn't want to go as he felt guilty about not going straight home to get on with all the pending work. But we all ganged up on him as he never gives himself any time off - and it was a weekend after all. Rwth, his partner, had suggested it in the first place, so that was no issue.

So...nice one mate. I'm so pleased. I hope you took some photos and I now publicly petition you to put them on this site for us all to share your joy. Miss ya pal and see you round June (and to any other surfer out there who is stuck in an office too - I hope you get to do the same soon too).
