And The Award Goes To...
So last night was the UK Asian Music Awards. Not a bad night actually for a Desi event. I was gob smacked to find it actually started on time. I had the great privilege of presenting the Best Radio Show award to Bobby Friction. I had former big brother contestant Maysoon alongside me. Wow. She's lovely. I think our Mum's may need to meet.
I was also asked to accept Best Video award on behalf of Jazzy B. I was slightly confused and started to pay tribute to great tracks such as Back To Life and Keep On Movin'. Oh, the old ones are the best. Much of the after party was spent chatting with Amar, now working with Jim Beanz who is part of Timbaland's camp. She is such an amazing individual.
