The remit of 麻豆社 Radio 5 live Sports Extra is to bring a greater choice of live action to sports fans by offering a part-time extension of 麻豆社 Radio 5 live.
The service should aim to provide increased value for licence fee payers from the portfolio of live sports already owned by the 麻豆社 by offering alternative coverage to that provided on other UK-wide 麻豆社 services.
All output on Radio 5 live sports extra should be live sports coverage.
Current service licence
The Trust reissued this service licence in April 2016 with an amended baseline budget for the year 2016/7. In giving approval to this change, the Trust has been assured by the 麻豆社 Executive that the change to the budget does not reflect any change to the remit, scope or other stated key characteristics of the service.
