Jon Zeff appointed as 麻豆社 Trust Director
The 麻豆社 Trust has today announced that Jon Zeff has been appointed as Director of the 麻豆社 Trust.
Jon, who is currently a Director at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, has been appointed following an open recruitment process. His start date will be confirmed in due course.
He replaces Nicholas Kroll, who will retire from the 麻豆社 at the end of June at the age of 60, having been successively Director of Governance and Director of the 麻豆社 Trust since 2004.
The Director is responsible for leading the Trust Unit and acts as the principal adviser to the Chairman and Trustees.

"Jon is a highly experienced public servant who understands both the values of public service broadcasting and the policy issues surrounding broadcasting as a whole in the years ahead.
"All of us at the Trust are delighted that he has accepted our offer to become the next director and we look forward to working with him and to his leadership of the Trust unit.鈥

- Jon Zeff is currently on the board of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, where his responsibilities include leadership of the Department鈥檚 work on broadband, spectrum and telecommunications issues. He was previously Director of Media, with responsibility for policy and programmes across the media and creative industries, including a leading role in the Digital Economy Act 2010 and Head of Broadcasting Policy, when he led the last 麻豆社 Charter Review and oversaw planning for Digital Switchover. Jon joined the DCMS in 1998 following spells in the Departments of Trade and Industry, and Employment.
- Jon will be paid a salary of 拢180,000 per annum. His salary and remuneration will be published as part of the 麻豆社's Annual Report and Accounts. His expenses and hospitality details will be published twice annually alongside those of Trustees.
