All Things Considered: Food Glorious Food

Food Glorious Food

Like many religious festivals Easter has a variety of customs around food - from hot cross buns to lamb, simnel cake and, of course, chocolate Easter eggs. But why does food play such an important part in religion and culture? And why is it being used increasingly as a means of spreading faith? We drop in on a family meal; join a group of homeless people; and visit one of the growing number of Christian cafes. And we start with a parish celebration of The Passover and Last Supper.
