It has been described as Africa's world war. Some five million people have died as a result of recent conflicts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. More than a million have fled from their homes, and many have been forced into exile - among them Kongosi and Ben Mussanzi, who have been in Wales this week telling about the work of their Conflict Resolution Centre. The couple are Roy Jenkins' guest on "All Things Considered" this week (Sunday 22 March at 8.30am, repeated Wednesday 25 March at 6.30pm).

They started the Conflict Resolution Centre in the Congo in 1993 when they were working at a church-based medical centre, Ben as a radiographer, Kongosi a teacher.

Forced out of the country seven years ago, they have now established a British version, based in Bradford, and their work has made such an impression that Kongosi was among a thousand women nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Also in the programme we look ahead to the Cardiff Men's Convention, an event next Saturday which will bring together hundreds of men from churches across South Wales for a day of teaching, worship and mutual support.
