On 'All Things Considered' this week (Sunday May 25th at 08.31, repeated on Wednesday May 28th at 18.32), Roy Jenkins meets Polish Christians who have made Wales their home.

It's a Sunday afternoon, the church is packed, and it's like this nearly every week.

The language is neither English nor Welsh, because the 250 people at this mass in Wrexham's Roman Catholic Cathedral are Polish. They are among the thirteen thousand or so Poles who have arrived in this corner of north east Wales in recent years.

It's not just the language which gives this mass a different feel. The overwhelming majority of the worshippers are young - a couple of dozen children, but the rest in their twenties and thirties.
