Do religion and politics mix?
Precisely what difference the new line-up at the Assembly will make to the people of Wales will take some time to work out. One thing that is clear is that parties bearing religious labels will form no part of the process.
Thursday's election saw two groups proclaiming themselves 'Christian' vying for the regional seats. They won very little support.
In this week's All Things Considered (Sunday 6 May at 8.31am, repeated Wednesday 9 May at 1.30pm), Roy Jenkins asks if their emergence has been a temporary blip - or will we get used to seeing candidates proclaiming their faith as a central part of their programme?
Would such a development be healthy, or dangerous? And just how should people with strong religious convictions seek to express their political beliefs?
