Peter Baker

Holocaust Memorial Day

Later this month people will be marking Holocaust Memorial Day and the liberation of the concentration camp at Auschwitz.

In a special two-part All Things Considered programme, Peter Baker meets Ellen Davis, a survivor of the Holocaust, who, as a Jewish child growing up in Germany, witnessed first hand the horror of the Nazi regime.

The first part of this moving interview can be heard on All Things Considered on Sunday 14 January at 8.31am (repeated on Thursday 18 January at 6.03pm).

Ellen Davis' book, Kerry's Children is published by Seren (ISBN 1-85411-371-2).
