Gerry Monte investigates the changing world of school where the focus is on play and not on the "three R's".

Feeling cut off and out of touch with his daughter's school education Gerry Monte set out to investigates how teaching methods have changed.

He compared his school days which were governed by the "three R's" to his daughter's education which, to his mind, focusses rather "puzzling and disturbingly" on play. Are all these new teaching methods and activities wasting precious learning time?
