Beti George looked particularly elegant today in an ivory trouser suit and neat ballet pumps. An important part of Beti's welcome is letting us know when applause is welcome by the singers. This can be quite complicated so she has had to advise us to bring pens to mark up our programmes. There were a few memory lapses on Sunday so Beti has to be firm with us!
