"I am proud of the portrait that I have helped to create."

Transcript

"I close my eyes and think about the courage that it has taken to live thus far. And as I open them I look upon my reflection in the mirror, I see that each line has been drawn carefully and exactly, in memory of each experience of my life. This face is dedicated to being the living trace of who and what I am.

Therefore I am proud of the portrait that I have helped to create, and know that the desire to pretend to be aging slowly is only the folly of the ego, that seeks to deny its impending demise.

I will look deeply into my eyes and really see the intelligence of who I have become and what I am joined to. There it is shining back at me in all its glory. This is true beauty, where age is an accomplishment and an achievement and not something to avoid.

I will wear my roadmap with pride because it bears testament to my unique journey. This is my celebration of my seasons of life."
