Rowley to stay at Salford following Hull FC approach
Salford have said Paul Rowley will remain in his position as head coach of the Red Devils, who have turned down an approach from fellow Super League club Hull FC.
Tony Smith left Hull, who are second from bottom in the table, earlier this month.
Rowley, 49, has been in charge of Salford since the start of the 2022 season and has guided them to sixth-place and seventh-place finishes during his two full campaigns at the helm.
He is under contract until 2025.
A Salford statement said: "An approach was made by Hull FC, which has now been rejected. Paul remains committed to the project under way at the club."
