Lincoln City board gets American reshuffle
Lincoln City's board has undergone a reshuffle after the increased involvement of one American investor.
Cincinnati-based Nick Ragland, who is co-chair of the Gorilla Glue Company, has increased his stake in the WMA Sports Venture group - a consortium that first invested in the Imps though its holding company - Lincoln City Holdings - in 2023.
The move means he will replace investment banker Pablo Webster on Lincoln City's board.
Ragland's share increase follows the 拢500,000 investment in the club by Ron Fowler, the former executive chairman and co-owner of Major League Baseball side San Diego Padres.
Despite that the club also confirmed a revised forecast for the year which projects it will lose just under 拢3m this season.
Arizona-based Harvey Jabara, who is said to be a "long-term friend and associate" of Fowler, remains the club's biggest stakeholder.
Lincoln are currently fourth in the League One table after eight games.
