Grimsby sign goalkeeper Smith on emergency loan
Grimsby Town have signed goalkeeper Jackson Smith on an emergency seven-day loan from Barnsley.
He joins after Jake Eastwood had surgery to repair a ruptured patellar tendon picked up in the win over Carlisle United.
Eastwood's injury had left teenager Seb Auton, 17, as the only fit goalkeeper in the Mariners' squad.
Smith, 22, is available for tonight's League Two game away at Gillingham (19:45 BST) and Saturday's match at home to Doncaster Rovers.
