Ìý Colposcopy 08ÌýJanuary 2004 Ìý
There's been a call for an investigation into a medical examination known as colposcopy, which is used to diagnose child sex abuse.

It follows a senior high court judge's warning to doctors and lawyers that the method, widely used in investigating cases of suspected child sex abuse, could lead to "grave miscarriages of justice".

Woman's Hour hears from a couple who've had personal experience of this issue and Jenni and guests Shami Chakrabarti, director of Liberty and Dr Jean Price, a consultant community paediatrician discuss these issues.
