Ìý Shirin Ebadi, winner of the Nobel Peace prize Monday 13 October 2003 Ìý
Shirin Ebadi is 56 and is a well-known lawyer noted especially for promoting the rights of women and children by seeking changes in Iran's divorce and inheritance laws. She is also the first Muslim woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Jenni is joined by Dr Haleh Afshr, Professor of Politics and Women's Studies at York University to talk about the first women to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
