Ìý Spiritual Healing on the NHS Wednesday 19 March 2003 Ìý
Image: healing hands
It sounds too good to be true, chronic pain, and conditions such as eczema and psoriasis cured by a course of spiritual healing. And all on the NHS.

You don't have to be religious or even believe in the treatment. But does it really work? And even if it does, shouldn't we be spending the health service's limited resources on something a bit more concrete, like reducing waiting lists?
Dr Tim Harlow of Cullompton College Surgery and Baroness Finlay of Llandaff is a former GP and is now Professor of Palliative Care in Cardiff - join Jenni to discuss whether spiritual healing is effective or not.
