Ìý Women & Wine Tuesday 17 December 2002 Ìý
Most wine that's bought in this country is bought by women.

We know what we like and don't like, but still get patronised in restaurants every time we're out with a bloke. He gets offered the wine list and is asked to taste - even if we're the one's picking up the bill.
So how can you learn to be really snooty and impressive to get the better of them - rather than simply knowing your Chardonnay from your Sauvignon Blanc.
Susy Atkins, wine writer & author of The Girls' Guide to Wine and Angela Mount is head wine buyer for Somerfield supermarkets join Jenni to discuss the rise of women in the wine industry.
The Girls' Guide to Wine by Susy Atkins, published by Mitchell Beazley, ISBN: 1-84000-682-X
