Not all of us can say that we're dusting down the diamonds and digging out the mink coat for the party season, but both gems and fur are back causing a stir on the catwalks and in the headlines.
But the biggest controversy of all is that no one seems to care. Have we lost our scruples in the pursuit of celebrity-driven glitz and glamour? Or are we wrong to expect fashion to carry our moral messages in the first place?
