Ìý Equal Pay Thursday 10 October 2002 Ìý
At least 3000 women who used to work in pit canteens and as cleaners in collieries have been overlooked in an equal pay award. The women, many of them poor and elderly, are out of pocket to the tune of tens of thousands of pounds.

So is the Equal Pay Act failing women? Between 1975 and 2000, only 21 per cent of cases have been won at tribunal or settle outside.
Jenni talks to Energy Minister Brian Wilson and Kate Godwin, editor of Equal Opportunties Review.
Join in the debate: What are your experiences of equal pay?
