This summer there are a bewildering number of shows aimed at inspiring us to spend more time in our gardens. The newest and most unusual is the International Westonbirt Festival of Gardens.
Unlike other shows, at Westonbirt money is limited and the designers come from a range of disciplines. But the most important part of the brief is that all the gardens must be contemporary.
Corinne Julius visits Westonbirt and meets Stephen Anderton who is the garden correspondent for the Times and one of the selectors for the Show. Westonbirt Festival of Gardens until 8th September 2002
