Ìý Bettye Lavette Tuesday 23 April 2002 Ìý
Bettye Lavette has been described as one of the world's greatest soul singers with a voice that can 'level a city'.

Bettye has been in the music business for forty years and is famed for her live performances.
Now she's playing her first gig in the UK for eight years - one night only at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. She tells Jenni why, despite her big fan base, commercial success has eluded her.
Bettye Lavette, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Saturday 27 April 2002
