When AIDS first hit the headlines 20 years ago, it was often referred to as a 'gay plague', but all that has changed.

In the UK, heterosexuals now account for the largest proportion of people living with HIV.
We hear the inspiring personal story of Anne Marie-Byrne, a mother of two who has been secretly living with the HIV virus since it killed her husband four years ago.
Body and Soul is a self-help organisation which provides support to heterosexual people living with HIV or AIDS and their families. You can call them on 0207 833 4929 / 4828 or email them at: info@bodyandsoul.demon.co.uk.
