Teenagers in abusive relationships

A survey released this month by Women’s Aid and Bliss Magazine found that nearly a quarter of young teenage girls who responded had been pressured into engaging in sexual activity with somebody they’ve dated.Ìý Also thatÌýone in six 15 year-olds had been hit or hurt in some other way.ÌýAs Children’s Minister Ed Balls calls for schools to be more proactive in preventing sexualized bullying, Jenni talks to Nicola Harwin from Women’s Aid and Joanna Sharpen from the Greater London Domestic Violence Project about why violence happens in teen relationships, and what can be done about it.
