Family Debt 15 Sept 2008
How can families survive the credit crunch?

The recent tragic case of the Shropshire family found in their burnt out mansion has lead to speculation that that business man Christopher Foster wiped out his whole family because he was so in debt. Last week Chancellor Alistair Darling said that the economic times faced globally "were arguably the worst they've been in 60 years" and according to the Council of Mortgage lenders, 100 homes are currently being repossessed every day. Jane is joined by consultant family psychotherapist Lorraine Davies Smith and financial journalist Sarah Pennels, to discuss how we can best prepare for the rougher times ahead and how to deal with the practical and emotional issue of debt and financial cuts within the family?
