Child Witnesses in Scotland 21 August2008
Claims that the Scottish judicial system is “failing” child witnesses

Achildren's charity saysvulnerable witnesses are being let down by the Scottish government. Children 1st says a new law designed to make it easier forchildrento give evidence in Scottish courts has not been properly implemented, meaningthey continue to be “traumatised” by the experience.

Today Jenni discusses this issuewith Ann Houston, Chief Executive of Children 1st and Sue Moody from the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).
