StarringÌýin the title roleÌýof 'Sweet Charity'

Although best known for her role as the feisty Melanie Owens in EastEnders, Tamzin Outhwaite was treading the musical boards long before she turned up on Albert Square. She played roles in Grease, Carousel and Oliver. AndÌýnow after 11 years she is back singing and dancing in the title role of Sweet Charity, at The Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre in London. She joins Jane to talk about coming back to musicals, motherhood and acting, and her reputation for playing strong women. She also discusses her lead role in Â鶹Éç1’s new five-part thriller Paradox.
