Maureen Lipman as Madame Armfeldt by Catherine Ashmore
On her role as Madame Armfeldt in A Little Night Music

The actress and comedian, Maureen Lipman, has enjoyed a varied career - from "Beattie" in the famous television adverts, to musicals like Oklahoma! She appeared as 'Dim Sum' in the pantomime Aladdin, and has even played a Doctor Who baddie! She joins Sheila McClennon to discuss her latest role - as 'Madame Armfeldt', the upper crust ex-courtesan, in Trevor Nunn’s critically-acclaimed production of A Little Night Music which has recently transferred to the Garrick Theatre, in London.
