If not now, when? 15 July 2008
Pensioners Sleeping
Should the over sixties be seizing the day?

In her latest book entitled ‘If Not Now, When’ Esther Rantzen exhorts her fellow babyboomers to seize the day and keep adventuring as long as they can. She argues it’s never too late to take up hang-gliding, swim with dolphins, and have more sex. But is there now too much pressure to live a life of daring and adventure in your sixties, isn’t there perhaps something to be said for a quieter life? Esther Rantzen and columnist for The Daily Record, Joan Burnie, join Jane to discuss the babyboomers’ approach to living out their seventh decade.

‘If Not Now, When’ written by Esther Rantzen, published by Headline Springboard ISBN: 978 0 7553 17196
