Carlos HenrÃquez Consalvi, a young journalist, is determined to set up a clandestine radio station to be the voice of the resistance in the midst of El Salvador’s civil war. He launches Radio Venceremos from the guerilla camps, and the national army are furious.
When ‘Ellen’ finally came out to her mother she discovered that nothing was as it seemed and was left carrying another secret for decades. They never spoke of it again.
