What a year it’s been! Musicians have faced their fair share of challenges, but as this celebratory show amply demonstrates, Africa’s finest are not about to let a mere virus dampen their spirits or get in the way of the amazing musical boom the continent is experiencing.

Highlights from our big name guests include Angola’s C4 Pedro relishing the opportunity lockdown has given him for creativity – he recorded two full albums in four months - and Zambia’s Cleo Ice Queen juggling home schooling her kids with home based photo shoots, press interviews and all the ongoing demands of her career.

Other artists featured in the programme include Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, and Master KG whose song Jerusalema can lay claim to being THE anthem of the year.
