Andy Fairweather Low
Welsh musician Andy Fairweather Low is Cerys's guest this month.
Born in Cardiff, the Welsh musician Andy Fairweather Low came to prominence in the '60s as the lead singer in the British band Amen Corner. They had four successive Top 10 hits in the UK Singles Chart, including the number one single (If Paradise Is) Half as Nice.
His impressive CV and solo career make him the go to guitarist and vocalist for many influential artists and Andy went on to work with Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Jimi Hendrix, Lonnie Donegan and Bob Dylan to name a few.
Now following a solo path, his first solo album in 24 years Sweet Soulful Music was released late in 2007 followed by The Very Best Of Andy Fairweather Low which was released in the UK in June 2008.
