Hurricane Harvey smashed into Texas - South Asia suffered the worst monsoon in years. Any lessons to be learned?
While the West concentrated on the flooding in Texas, Asia was more concerned about the worst monsoon for a decade. But they had things in common - including the role of humans in making things worse. Barbara Plett-Usher in Houston and Suranjana Tewari in Mumbai draw the parallels.
